Cybersecurity is an ongoing process and a new challenge every day.

More than process automation: How AI also increases cybersecurity

Cyber threats are becoming increasingly sophisticated. This means that our defenses must become smarter as well.

AI plays a key role in this, as AI-powered systems can analyze vast amounts of data in real time, detect unusual patterns, and identify and counter threats before any damage occurs.

A promising concept in this field is AI gateways. These intelligent interfaces function as middleware and serve as the first line of defense for companies. They detect suspicious activities, filter information, and forward only relevant data to subsequent systems. In doing so, AI gateways not only enhance the efficiency of threat detection but also reduce the load on existing security infrastructures by identifying, analyzing, and intercepting potential attacks at an early stage.

However, like any technology, AI in cybersecurity brings new challenges: the same technology that protects us can be used by attackers to refine their methods. It's an arms race in which we must remain vigilant.

Therefore, it is crucial that we not only rely on the latest AI tools and AI gateways, but also invest in continuous education and the development of ethical standards. Cybersecurity is not a goal that we can achieve once and then check off – it is an ongoing issue in which we must continually evolve.
